Not one to sit still, I love to create and innovate, and to make beautiful things, from art to photos, jewels to rooms.
I am a believer in people carving out their own paths, off the beaten track of the “status quo”, doing it your way, and that yes,
you can do it all.
A New York City based jeweler and a registered Goldsmith of London, I am the creator, maker and founder of my firstborn brand, self named, Jayne Moore NYC.
It’s fine Jewelry, but rebellious and unconventional, favoring the imperfect and extraordinary with pieces that are distinctly one-of-a-kind, and settings that can’t be duplicated.
Everything is handmade by myself and my small team, right here in NYC. Using recycled and refined metals and certified conflict-free diamonds, I operate a zero exploitation policy - of human or animal.
I love startlingly beautiful things with a raw and defiant edge that gives an elegant middle finger to convention and “how things have always been done”. I love quirks, trace elements, carbon smoke, and evidence of a stones million+ year journey… each to one’s own.

In 2020, I found myself with a project and opportunity in my hands. Inexperienced, but scrappy as hell, I said yes and figured it out as I went. With a keen eye for design, attention to detail, and all the taste my previous careers have refined, I joined the team of In Tune Hospitality in concepting, designing, developing, and curating their existing and upcoming spaces. Taking me on a wild ride I could never have expected, I am proud of what we have built and continue to build… New concept joining the family Spring/Summer 2024.

One of the most extraordinary things we get to play with is language. This gift of framing sounds to make words that mean things and sentences that can straight up smack you in the heart.
Humans are weird; I have yet to decide if I’m a fan, but our propensity to love and to hurt fascinates me, and to be able to communicate this bizarre human condition, I think, is possibly the sexiest thing in the world.
To paint a picture in letters, to share a feeling - the intimacy, pain, passion, vulnerability, and absolute beauty of our messy, mortal, and fatally human lives.
So humor me as I try, now and again, to write and, in doing so, attempt to explore the depths of the deep, dark, gritty, technicolored, wine-stained, complicated, erotic, cruel, kind, funny, and tender-hearted selves.

How to talk to your Entrepreneurial friends….
I’ve heard people liken the entrepreneurial path to “success” to a rollercoaster, but if that’s the case then this rollercoaster goes underground and into some hella dark tunnels, and it feels like there is a lot more time spent screaming in freefall or plunged into darkness than any ups and lofty views!
